Maybe it was the red hair and freckles that we had in common--but, whatever it was, Robin and I were "sisters" at heart. We never got together but we had a great time and it seemed we had seen each other only yesterday. I will always hold Robin in my heart and will always be there for all of you to lean on when you need someone.
I will always remember how no matter what was on our list you would never go by what was on it. Christmas was always a surprise and you always spoiled us whether you could afford it or not. Unfortunately you passed that on to me and your grandchild is reaping the benefits lol We miss you tons this Christmas with no Tiffany blue box under the tree lol just kidding! Love you forever and miss you for always as long as I'm living my mommy you;ll be.
I remember fondly the fabulous vactions you always set up for us. I remember the great times we always had in Vegas. On what would have been our 37th anniversary, I took you with me to Vegas and we went and saw Teri Fator. It was a great show and you would have loved. I sprinkled a little bit of you by the pool at the hotel. I remember how you loved to hang out at the cabanas. I hope you enjoyed the trip and everything. I felt lost at first, but after a while, it felt kind of natural. I miss the hell out of ya Darlin. It is a struggle everyday just to get up and continue on without you. Than I think of how you would have kicked my ass so I do it. It still isn't getting any better. It has helped a great deal to have Leah and Shelby here and to have my visits with Melanie, Keith and Audrey. She is a very funny little girl. I love you Babe and always will
I remember going to Seattle with just Amma. I was about 7, and we stayed in a pink hotel. We went in, and it looked so fancy! We shopped, got pedicures, and haircuts. I remember going to Red Robin almost every time we ate because thats the only place we knew how to get to! This was before she got sick, and we walked all around! It was only a weekend, but that was my favorite vacation now that I go back and think about it. Just the two of us. There's a ton of things I ca remember, but this was my favorite. You never yelled at me or made me sad. All you did was make me feel like I was at the top of he world. I'll always love you, and nothing and no one will make me ever forget you. When you got sick, you told me that after you got better that we would go back to Seattle, and maybe we still will. Maybe when Audrey and I are both older, I'll take her to Seattle and show her everywhere we went. I will never forget you, and I will make it my job to make sure Audrey never does, either. I love you so much, and you know we'll meet again.
